Want to estimate what your GPA will be at the end of this semester?
Need to know what it will take to improve your GPA?
It’s easy to use our GPA Calculator:
- Enter your GPA credit and grade (honor) points from Suffolk to establish your current GPA. You can view this information through your SAIL Students’ account by clicking on Transcript and scrolling down to Total Grade Points and Total GPA Credits. If you are not getting your credit information from your online transcript, remember that transfer credits are not calculated towards your GPA.
- Enter the letter grades and number of credits you anticipate you will receive in each course. Press the "calculate" button. This will display a calculation of your anticipated cumulative GPA.
To determine what grades you need to improve your GPA to a certain level (ex: how many credits of "A" do I need to move from a 1.8 to a 2.5?), you may need to try a few different scenarios. By entering grades in various combinations, you can see what impact certain grades will have on your cumulative average.
