Each summer the Performing Arts Office provides an opportunity for Suffolk students remaining in the Boston area a chance to flex their acting muscles for the incoming first-year class during New Student Orientation.
The plot of the production differs from year to year, but it’s always original and always fun.
For instance, one year, the director of Suffolk University’s Seriously Bent Improv Comedy Troupe, Jeremy Brothers, wrote the original script, Saved By The STEW. A gleefully irreverent spoof of Saved By The Bell, this show took place during the last week of school for the seniors of Harborside High.
Performances in recent years have included Reality STEW, which brought back an old favorite and asked the question, "What happens when seven Suffolk students are picked to live in a house and have their lives taped?", and Alphabet STEW, which took audiences on a comic and musical journey through the ABC’s.
