• FallFest Variety Show

FallFest is Suffolk’s annual variety show presented over Family Weekend. This show provides a venue for Suffolk students and staff to display their hidden, (and not so hidden) performing arts talents within the structure of an exciting musical extravaganza. It’s a magical evening where students come together to sing and dance, sharing their talents, and celebrating our University’s sense of community.

Past FallFests such as "The Unofficial Suffolk Tour" took an insider look at various departments on campus. The tour travelled to places never mentioned on the official tours of the school, and explored just what makes this University tick. The audience visited the Dean of Students’ Office where a misguided and misinformed student got the pep talk of his life, the brand new location of Health Services to see why the state of the art facility could not have come soon enough, heard from a fed up group of co-eds, a team of down-and-out athletes, and even ventured inside the mind of a first year’s parent as she wrestled with a nightmare all her own.

A new theme is explored each year, from the 30th anniversary show - featuring students, faculty and alumni - to the fantastical songs of Broadway musicals, to a journey back in time to the USO shows of the 1940’s. The singing and dancing of core cast members is interspersed throughout the show with acts performed by individual students or independent Suffolk groups.
