Work with professional broadcast video producers and assist in managing commercial television productions at Suffolk University.
Producer’s Fellows will assist with production design, pre-production; accompany production crews and work to develop post-production supervision.
If you plan on working in a broadcast or industrial television career this is the kind of experience that will help you gain an edge.
The three month fellowship program will include working in a creative environment, mentorship from professionals; and ongoing support from media services staff. It also includes a stipend and access to professional video equipment. The fellowship also includes a Creativity Roundtable that will engage the students with professionals in the field.
Qualifications: Open to all Communications & Journalism Majors that have completed the following courses: CJN 355 Video Production or CJN 255 Introduction to Media or CJN 347 Media Planning and must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The Fellowship is open to all Sophomore, Junior & Senior students.
Students should have a fairly flexible schedule and be willing to work on projects as directed and be open to sharing production ideas and creative thoughts across a team of professional video designers.
Producer’s Fellows will receive a $600.00 stipend and copies of any completed productions for a production reel.
