In the spring of 2007, Suffolk kicked off a new program in its residence halls to encourage students to donate items they no longer need. Thank you to our partner Dump and Run, a non-profit organization that works on waste prevention techniques with colleges and universities.
Residents of 150 Tremont and 10 Somerset had the opportunity to drop off items in their lobbies during Move Out Week. We diverted over a ton of materials from landfills and proceeds from the sale of these items benefited charity. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and lent their services.
