Overview

The computer has been integrated fully into both the graphic design and interior design curricula and state-of-the-art equipment is available in ten computer labs. Workstations are constantly upgraded to meet the demands of professional workplace-based software. All labs have Internet access and are connected by a local area network providing access to printers and fileservers. A variety of input devices are available including digital cameras, camcorders, drawing tablets, and flatbed and slide scanners.

Macintosh Studios for Graphic Design & Fine Arts

 Number:  5 Macintosh labs
 Type:  Four undergraduate; one graduate
 Equipment:  G5 and Intel towers and iMacs; 17” or larger LCD monitors, laser and large format
 color inkjet printers; flat bed scanners
 Software:  Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, AfterEffects Pro, Font Folio,
 Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Final Cut Studio, Sound Studio, Maya and Microsoft Office.

PC Studios for Interior Design

 Number:  5 PC labs (2 flex studio)
 Type:  Four undergraduate; one graduate
 Equipment:  Dell Precision workstations optimized for architectural and interior design applications;
 17" flat panel LCD monitors; laser and large format color inkjet printers; flat bed scanners; plotters
 Software:  AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, VIZ, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Piranesi, Adobe Photoshop,
 Illustrator and InDesign and Microsoft Office
