For decades, most Suffolk students came from right around Boston—and many arrived every day by train. Many were night students who never saw the school in daylight until graduation. Nearly all of them worked. But for a gratifying number of our alumni, their education at Suffolk launched a personal transformation that revolutionized their prospects and changed their lives.
By many measures, Suffolk is a different place today. We draw students from all 50 states and 95 countries, and offer 20 percent of our undergraduates a residential room on campus. While our night programs still flourish, day students are the rule for our undergraduates.
What hasn’t changed? Suffolk’s gift for changing lives—for helping our students find their passion and exercise their power.
Here are some of our stories.
