The following information will help you to select a Freshman Seminar:

• Each seminar is limited to 20 students;
• You may register for any seminar that interests you, not necessarily one in your prospective major;
• Prior to registering, make a list of all seminars that interest you in case your top choice is full; and
• Bring a printed confirmation of your seminar to summer orientation.

*Please note several Seminar for Freshmen courses have been linked to the University’s Freshman Year Experience Program (SU101) and an additional group have been linked to both English101 and the University’s Freshman Year Experience Program (SU101). Students who choose a linked section will have the benefit of sharing two or three classes with the same classmates.  Please see more information about this in the courses section.
