Objectives
The program leading to a Master of Education degree in Foundations of Education provides teachers in all settings with insights, skill and field experiences necessary to improve their knowledge and competencies in all aspects of their professional performance. It is also appropriate for those who wish to extend their knowledge of the socio-cultural foundations of educational practices so as to assess present and future issues and practices as well as for those who seek a solid foundation for study at the certificate or doctoral level.
Program Description
Candidates can generally expect to complete degree requirements in two years of part-time study or one calendar year of full-time study. The minimum program requirement is 30 semester hours of credit. Individuals are responsible for planning their program in consultation with their faculty advisor.
