The Internal Disaster Plan is designed to coordinate the response of the University to an internal situation that may jeopardize the safety or well-being of employees, students, and visitors.
Internal disasters include:
- Fire ( See University Fire Procedures)
- Bomb Threat (See Bomb Threat Procedure
- Loss of utility such as: electricity, water, air conditioning, heat, or gas
- Flood – due to roof leakage, water line break, etc.
- Structural damage
- Natural gas leak
Responses to Internal Disasters
- Remove employees, students or visitors from areas of risk. Remove equipment if appropriate.
