Dear New Student:

Congratulations on your acceptance to Suffolk University.  We invite you to begin your undergraduate experience at Suffolk by participating in our orientation program.

Before you begin classes, Suffolk offers orientation and registration programs to assist you in making the transition to University life. This is your opportunity to spend time learning about Suffolk with your future classmates. To confirm your space for this program, please complete the on-line registration form by Tuesday, December 30, 2008. If you do not have access to the Internet, please call our office at 617.573.8320 and we will take your reservation over the phone. Participation in the orientation and registration program is required before you begin classes at Suffolk.

The Winter Orientation and Registration session for new first-year students is: Tuesday, January 6, and Wednesday, January 7, 2009.

Meet your classmates, faculty, deans, and administrators; and familiarize yourself with the University and campus. Our student orientation team has designed sessions to help you register for courses and to inform you of the many services and activities at Suffolk.

Families and parents of new students are encouraged to attend the Family Orientation program along with their student. If you have any orientation questions, please call the Office of Student Activities at 617.573.8320 or e-mail us at orientation@suffolk.edu. Please be aware that our office will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2008 to Friday, January 2, 2009. During this time, the Office of Undergraduate Admission is open during limited hours and can be reached at 617.573.8460.

Beyond the information needed to successfully participate in orientation, this web site serves as an information resource for you after orientation as you prepare for your arrival in the fall.
