A Material Safety Data Sheet or MSDS, is a detailed document prepared by the manufacturer written to inform you about the hazards and characteristics of the product you work with.   Information included in a MSDS aids in the selection of safe products, personal protective equipment and spill control measures. Under OSHA’s, Right to Know Act, employers are required to have MSDSs accessible at all times.
