The mission of Health Services is to assist all Suffolk University students in maintaining optimum physical and emotional health, by making available comprehensive, high-quality, easily accessible, cost-effective primary care. Additionally, Health Services is committed to working collaboratively with students to assist them in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and enhance healthful attitudes and behaviors that will promote high-level wellness. Health Services will support students in their personal and academic development, consistent with the mission of the University.

Reasons to Visit

  • You want to find out about, or make use of, any of the following services:
    • Medical Services: Diagnosis and treatment of general health problems, injuries due to accidents, or for counseling related to health issues. Gynecological exams, pap smears, breast exams; testing and treatment of STD’s, vaginal infections; birth control counseling and pregnancy testing, and the morning after pill. Appointments can be made with a nurse practitioner.
    • Special Services: Flu vaccines, lab tests, and immunizations.
    • Health Promotion Programs: Programs and individuals counseling that addresses a variety of health-related concerns are offered throughout the year
  • You are on campus and need a bandage, throat lozenge, pain reliever, condom, etc.
  • You want to receive an immunization or document that your immunizations are up to date.
  • You have a question about health insurance, would like to waive the University’s health insurance, or want a referral to a physician or other provider covered by health insurance.
