Where can I get a locker?

If you are tired of carrying your books to and from campus then you will be happy to know that you may obtain a locker through the Physical Plant Department on the 1st floor of the Archer Building. How do I find out if my classes are canceled due to inclement weather?

In the event of severe storms or other similar conditions, classes will be canceled. Announcements concerning the cancellation of classes may be heard over most radio stations between 6:30 am-8:30 am on the day of the storm. If the storm occurs late in the day, radio announcements of evening cancellations may be heard from 3 pm-5 pm. If you are not near a radio or television station, please call the University’s Main number at (617) 573-8000 where a voice-mail recording will also provide weather updates.

Does Suffolk University participate in the MBTA Discount pass program?

YES, like many other schools in Boston, Suffolk partners with the MBTA to offer . Coordinated through the Student Activities Office, Semester passes must be purchased in advance at only sold once through the semester - so keep a look out for this information as it saves you 11% on your costs. Passes are available for Subway and all commuter rail zones.

As a commuter, can I get a meal plan?

The Ram Account is a declining balance account that is linked to your Suffolk ID.  Add funds to your Ram Account and use it at participating dining locations both on and off campus.  This account is open to the entire Suffolk Community-commuter and resident students, faculty and staff.  To deposit funds into your Ram Account, go to any on-campus dining services location, or call Dining Services at 617-305-2511.  Deposits can be made at any time throughout the year, and Ram Account funds are available as long as you are an active member of the Suffolk community.  For more information, contact the Campus Card Office at 617-573-8499 or visit www.suffolk.edu/ramcard.

Is there a quiet place to study without going to the library?

There are plenty of nooks and crannies throughout campus that will become your favorite spot between classes, but there is a designated quiet/study room designed with commuters in mind located in the forth floor of Donahue, of all places, next to the radio station.
