How is the Suffolk MBA accelerated for attorney’s?

Admission is accelerated because the GMAT is waived with documentation of the LSAT.

Complete your MBA in only 10 to 13 courses.  The traditional Suffolk MBA 18 course program is shortened by atleast five courses: the business law core course is waived and four electives are automatically transferred from your previous law school degree.  The traditional waiver policy also applies.

How long will it take to complete the Accelerated MBA for Attorney’s?

10 to 12 months full-time - depending on course waivers
16 to 22 months part-time - depending on course waivers
Alternatively, take up to five years to complete the degree

You’ll be joining other Suffolk MBAs, part-time and full-time, from across the globe, with varied educational and employment backgrounds. Your classmates will likely be financial analysts, HR specialists, CIOs, CFOs, physicians, marketing managers and a myriad of other working professionals. The Suffolk MBA classroom is a learning environment, and a networking opportunity to enhance your professional credentials.

The Accelerated MBA for Attorney’s Program of Study

10 to 13 courses (31 to 40 credits)
All Suffolk MBAs must earn a minimum of 31 credits.

Core Courses (21 credits - may be waived)
MBA 610  Organizational Behavior 
MBA 620  Statistical Methods - 1.5 credits
MBA 625  Operations Management  - 1.5 credits
MBA 630  Economic Analysis for Managers
MBA 640  Corporate Financial Reporting and Control 
MBA 650  Value-Based Financial Management
MBA 660  Marketing: The Challenge of Managing Value 
MBA 670  Information Management for Competitive Advantage
MBA 680  Managing in the Ethical and Legal Environment - automatically waived      

Required Capstone Courses – 6 credits
MBA 780  Managing in the Global Environment
MBA 800  Strategic Management      

Electives –  12 credits
Select four courses from among electives in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance and managerial economics, health administration, information systems, international business, marketing, organizational behavior, public administration and nonprofit management, strategic management, and taxation.

In some instances, students may be required to substitute an equivalent credit course for a waived course to achieve the 31 credit minimum for all Suffolk MBA degrees.
