The Suffolk University Archives has two oral history projects: the Suffolk University Oral History Project and the John Joseph Moakley Oral History Project. Both projects seek to document the narrators’ recollections about a specific topic (see project pages for more information). These projects seek to document and preserve valuable information and observations that may not be a part of the paper, photographic, and audio/video portions of Archives’ collections. Oral history interviews can be beneficial to researchers because they provide a more personal view on a particular subject.
