Student Health Insurance

Massachusetts state law requires that all students taking nine credits or more per semester have adequate health insurance coverage. All students who do not notify Health Services that they are covered by a comparable policy of their own, will be automatically enrolled in the University plan. Insurance information and a decision waiver form will be mailed to you during the summer.

If you do not need insurance, you are required to submit a waiver form to Health Services. Questions should be directed to Health Services at (617) 573-8260 or 8270. If you have submitted your waiver form and are still being charged for health insurance on your October (year) or February (Spring only) invoice, please contact Health Services immediately to verify that your waiver form was received.

You must submit a new waiver each academic year!
