• Visiting Suffolk

Information Sessions

Information Sessions give you the opportunity to learn more about Suffolk University in a group setting. We will provide you with an overview of the Undergraduate programs at the University. The session includes information concerning admission and financial aid. A tour of the campus is included at the end of each session. Please use our online Information Sessions Registration to enroll.

Campus Tours

Join us for a student-guided walking tour of the campus, which is comprised of 16 different buildings in the Beacon Hill area. Specifically, you will see the library, classrooms, student lounges and a residence hall, and learn about life at Suffolk from a student perspective. Campus tours are available weekdays, and several Saturdays and holidays, throughout the regular semester. Please visit our Campus Tour Registration to select your preferred date and time and to register for your tour. For directions to campus please click here.

Interviews

Though a personal interview is not required, an individual meeting with an admission staff member can be helpful to both you and the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Interviews are available most weekdays and many weekends. Many students make plans to schedule an interview on the same day for which they have registered for a campus tour. Interviews are held in the Office of Undergraduate Admission located on the 6th floor of the Stahl Building at 73 Tremont Street. For more information, or to schedule an interview, please call 617.573.8460.

Interviews for Transfer Students

Prospective transfer students may arrange an individual appointment with an admission counselor. Interviews are typically held most weekdays. You may also bring a copy of your transcripts to discuss potential transfer credit.

To schedule an appointment for an interview or for the Transfer Admission Session, please call 617.573.8460.

Transfer Decision Sessions

These sessions are for transfer applicants who wish to receive a decision on the spot and also receive a tour of the campus.  In order to participate, you must sign up in advance and bring the following credentials:

  • Completed application including the essay and application fee
  • Official high school transcript in sealed envelope and test results, if applicable.
  • Official college transcript(s) in sealed envelopes

You should plan on arriving at the Welcome Center between 12:30pm-12:55pm.  At this time you will submit the above material.  You will then go on a tour of the University with current Suffolk students.  After the tour, you will meet with an admission staff member who will give you your decision.  The session ends at approximately 2:15pm.

Due to the complexities of evaluating certain credentials and portfolios, international students and Art and Design students are not eligible to participate.
