Local Connections, National Reflections
World Boston, Suffolk University Government Department and The National Committee on U.S.-China Relations presents: China Town Hall - Local Connections, National Reflections.
A live webcast from Washington DC with Norman J. Ornstein (Resident Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute) and Ezra Vogel (Henry Ford II Professor of Social Science Emeritus at Harvard University).
Now more than ever, China’s rise is strongly influencing the course of world affairs, economic and political developments in the United States, especially in this important election year. Join us as we partake in a national discussion that will explore just how large “the China factor” will be in the upcoming Presidential and Congressional election.
As a participant, you will have the opportunity to send questions directly to Washington D.C., possibly to be answered by key-note speaker Norman Ornstein. Leading the post– web cast discussion and Q&A will be local and leading scholar on Asian affairs, Ezra Vogel, moderated by Simone Chun, Professor of East Asian Affairs at Suffolk University.
