The Office of Public Affairs plays a dual role, serving as an information resource within the University community and communicating information about the University to an external audience, including the media, alumni, prospective students and parents.

University Services

The Office of Public Affairs is available to consult with University departments and institutes on publicity and marketing. It is uniquely positioned to promote consistent messages about the University and its mission. Among the services Public Affairs provides:

• Help to define a message and determine communications goals.
• Work actively to spread the news to the targeted audience.
• Work with electronic and print media to communicate the messages and themes of the University and its departments.
